Police ScotlandA man has been arrested and released after another man was found dead in a common close in Renfrew.
Alastair Campbell was pronounced dead at the scene on Renfield Street at around 3am on October 30.
Police are treating the 52-year-old’s death as suspicious and enquiries have been ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
Officers confirmed on Tuesday that a 35-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the death.
He was later released as enquiries into the incident continue.
