Police have arrested a man who ran away following a disturbance which left another man in hospital in Glasgow city centre.
Emergency services were called to Sauchiehall Street at around 6pm on Tuesday after receiving reports of a disturbance.
A 34-year-old man was found injured, and was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Another man ran off, and enquiries were launched to trace him.
Officers confirmed that a 30-year-old was later arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, police received a report of a disturbance in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.
“A 34-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“Following enquiries, a 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
