A man has been arrested following an incident at a flat in Glasgow’s southside on Saturday afternoon.
Armed officers rushed to Battlefield Avenue with pictures posted on social media showing a large police presence in the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of concern for a person within a flat on Battlefield Avenue around 4.45pm on Saturday, 9 May, 2020.
“Officers attended alongside specialist firearms officers due to information firearms and knives might have been involved.
“Nobody was injured and the incident was safely brought to a conclusion. A 40-year-old man was arrested and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
