A suspect has been arrested after a man died in hospital following a disturbance at a property in Glasgow.
Officers were alerted to the incident around 1am on Tuesday on Brock Road.
Police confirmed that a 49-year-old was taken Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
A 53-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The force said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1am on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, police received a report of a disturbance and a man being found injured at a property on Brock Road, Glasgow.
“A 49-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
“A 53-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries remain ongoing.”
