A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged rape of a woman in Glasgow city centre.
Police were called to the Howard Street area of the city at around 8.20pm on Tuesday after receiving reports that a 32-year-old woman had been the victim of a serious sexual assault.
Officers confirmed that a 23-year-old man had since been arrested in connection with the attack.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were made aware of a serious sexual assault of a 32-year-old woman in the Howard Street area of Glasgow around 8.20pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
“A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
