A man has appeared in court in connection with a disturbance which saw police lock down a street in Glasgow for several hours.
Members of the public were told to avoid the Harmony Place area in Govan on Tuesday evening while police dealt with a “disturbance” around 5.30pm.
The street was closed for several hours before police made an arrest.
On Wednesday, Scott Wallace appeared in court charged with threatening or abusive behaviour, culpable and reckless conduct, resisting or obstructing and assault.
The 32-year-old from Glasgow made no plea and has been remanded in custody pending further examination.
He is due to appear before the court again within eight days.
