Two people have been charged after a man was taken to hospital following an attack at a house in East Dunbartonshire.
Police were called to a property on Bencloich Place, Lennoxtown, at around 1pm on Saturday, after receiving reports that a man had suffered serious injuries in an attack.
Emergency services took the 30-year-old to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. His current condition is unknown.
Officers confirmed that a 34-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
They both appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday.
A police spokesperson said: “A 34-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman have been arrested and charged following the serious assault of a 30-year-old man in Lennoxtown.
“The incident occurred within a property on Bencloich Place around 1pm on Saturday, October 29, 2022. The 30-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries.”
