A man was airlifted to hospital following an overnight rescue mission on the Isle of Mull.
Around midnight on Sunday, the coastguard was called to assist the Scottish Ambulance Service with a casualty transfer from the island.
The transfer prompted a multi-agency response and was supported by the Craignure Coastguard Rescue Team.
The man was transported to a mainland hospital via an HM Coastguard helicopter for treatment.
A coastguard spokesperson said: “Just after midnight on Sunday, July 14, HM Coastguard was called to assist the Scottish Ambulance Service with a casualty transfer from the Isle of Mull in Scotland.
“Supported by the Craignure Coastguard Rescue Team, an HM Coastguard helicopter conveyed the patient to a hospital on the mainland.”
