An investigation has been launched after a man ‘acting suspiciously’ left a suitcase containing £6,000 worth of cannabis on a train.
On Tuesday, staff on board a Glasgow-bound train contacted the British Transport Police (BTP) after noticing the man acting in a suspicious manner.
The man alighted the train at Motherwell, leaving behind a suitcase which contained cannabis worth thousands of pounds.
The BTP said that they are now investigating the incident in a bid to trace the man.
BTP has been contacted for comment.
