A man has been arrested and charged following a number of reports of women being subjected to sexual comments in Renfrewshire.
The three incidents, one of which included an assault, took place in the Rashielee Avenue, Portsoy and Bargarran Road areas of Erskine on the morning of Tuesday, December 5.
On Monday, police confirmed a 55-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incidents.
The man is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, December 12.
Detective Constable Stewart Morrison, from Paisley CID, said: “Our enquiries remain ongoing and we believe there may have been further incidents in the Erskine area on the same morning.
“We ask anyone with information to come forward and contact police by calling 101, quoting incident 1366 of December 5, 2023.”
