Police are investigating after a ‘large-scale’ cannabis farm was discovered within a building in South Lanarkshire.

At around 3.20pm on January 2, officers discovered the cultivation in a building on Bannatyne Street in Lanark.

Enquiries are ongoing at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.20pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, officers discovered a large scale cannabis cultivation within a building at Bannatyne Street, Lanark. Enquiries are ongoing.”
