A man has died following an incident at an address in Lanark.

Emergency services were called to the area around 10pm on Wednesday on Braxfield Terrace.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the death is being treated as suspicious.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10pm on Wednesday, October 4, police were called to an address in Braxfield Terrace, Lanark.

“Police and Ambulance attended and an as yet unidentified man was pronounced dead.

“The death is currently being treated as suspicious and the investigation to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the death is ongoing. Officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
