Investigation launched after man dies from injuries on street

An investigation has been launched after a man died from serious injuries on a street in Glasgow.

Police locked down Southcroft Street at around 7pm on Friday after a man was found seriously injured.

Officers confirmed that he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries into the incident remain ongoing at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 7pm on Friday, November 3, 2023, we received a report of a man found seriously injured in Southcroft Street, Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The death is being treated as unexplained, and inquiries are ongoing.”
