A body has been found inside a property near Glasgow’s Charing Cross.

Officers were called to a home on St George’s Road, near the Woodlands area of the city, at around 9am on Thursday following concern for a person inside.

Police Scotland said enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson said: “Around 9am on Thursday officers were called to a property on the St George’s Road area of Glasgow following a concern for person.

“The body of a person was found within and enquiries are ongoing.”
