Seven hens have been stolen from outside a house in Dumfries and Galloway.
The birds were taken from a garden on the A75 near to Crocketford between 9pm on Sunday and 11am on Monday.
Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
A force spokesperson said: “If you have any information, call 101.”
