Police are hunting for a man who inappropriately touched himself while on a busy Friday rush hour train from Glasgow.

British Transport Police detectives said the man was reported to behaving indecently onboard the service between Kilwinning and Saltcoats railway stations.

The incident took place on Friday, November 3, on the 5.34pm Glasgow Central to Ardrossan Harbour train.

The suspect is described as white, with a stocky build, shaved hair and wearing a black jacket, black trousers, dark trainers and a white baseball cap.

Detective constable Martin Graham, said: “This incident occurred onboard a busy train service. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please get in touch with us.”
