Hunt for man launched after teenage boy sexually assaulted on train

An appeal has been launched after a teenage boy was sexually assaulted on a train to Stirling.

At around 9.30pm on Saturday May 18, a man sat next to a 16-year-old boy on a train from Glasgow Queen Street to Stirling and sexually assaulted him.

The teenager challenged the man who got up and moved further down the carriage before leaving the train at Stirling.

The British Transport Police are now asking anyone with information to come forward.

The man is described as being white in his 50s, around 5ft 8ins tall and of a broad build. 

He had short grey hair and beard and was wearing a silver jacket with a green and white top underneath,  brown shorts and white trainers.
