A man was left “badly shaken” after being struck by a car in Glasgow in hit and run.

The 60-year-old was walking on Byres Road when a black Audi A4 estate made an illegal turn into Lawrence Street.

Emergency services were called after the collision at around 1.20pm on Friday, March 3.

The man did not require medical treatment, however, he was left “badly shaken” police said.

Officers are continuing to review CCTV footage from in and around the area.

Constable Tom Parker said: “I am appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time who may have seen the black Audi and its occupant(s), possibly being driven erratically or dangerously, to contact us.

“I would also like to ask anyone with recording equipment, such as dash cams, to check their footage as there may be images which could assist our investigation.”
