CCTV appeal after masked robber breaks into burger restaurant

BRGR, in Glasgow, took to social media where they shared footage of a masked individual smashing a window before breaking in.

A CCTV appeal has been launched after a masked robber appeared to smash the window of a Glasgow burger restaurant before breaking in.

BRGR, located in the city’s Great Western Road, took to social media to state they would only be open for delivery after the window of the shop was shattered during a break-in in the early hours of Monday morning.

CCTV footage shared from the establishment appears to show an individual donning a mask as they throw an unidentifiable object at the window twice, before making their way inside.

The accompanying post read: “Unfortunately our West End shop will be delivery and takeaway only this afternoon until we get our door sorted!

“We know our BRGRs are good guys but please wait until the shop is open until you try and get one.”

It comes just days after the restaurant, which also has a location in Glasgow city centre, offered a promotional £1 burger deal.

It is unknown at this stage if anything was stolen from the premises.
