CCTV issued in hunt for man after assault outside Iceland

The assault occurred on an early evening in April in the middle of Glasgow's Byres Road.

Images of a man police believe is connected to an assault on Glasgow’s Byres Road have been released to the public.

The incident occurred on April 12 this year outside the Iceland store around 5.05pm.

The male is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, average build with receding brown hair. He was wearing a navy top with a yellow detail on the chest and arm area, blue jeans, dark trainers and carrying a dark rucksack.

Detective constable John Whitelaw said: “We are keen to speak to this male who may have information to assist with our enquiries. I would encourage him or anyone who may recognise him to please contact us.

“Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference number 2622 of April 12, 2023.

“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
