A hotel in Glasgow had to be evacuated after “threatening phone calls” were made in early hours of Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to The Grosvenor Hotel on Grosvenor Terrace around 6.10am following reports of threats being made.
Staff and guests were evacuated while searches of the building were carried out.
Police have now confirmed nothing of concern was discovered.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 6.10am on Monday, April 1, 2024, officers attended a premises in Grosvenor Terrace, Glasgow after a report of threatening telephone calls.
“The premises were evacuated as a precaution while searches were carried out.
“These were negative of anything of concern and members of the public have been permitted access back to the premises. Enquiries remain ongoing.”
