A man sustained a serious facial injury which required hospital treatment after he was assaulted while walking by a group of teenagers near Cumbernauld.
Between 11pm on Saturday October 29 and 0.45am on Sunday October 30, a 24-year-old man was walking with his girlfriend in Main Road, Condorrat when he was approached by a group of men aged between 18 and 19.
He was assaulted and sustained a serious facial injury that required treatment in hospital.
The attackers were described as all wearing black clothing.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
