A four-vehicle crash on the A720 has caused delays during rush hour traffic.
Traffic Scotland said police were called to a four vehicle collision on the route westbound near to Straiton in South Ayrshire.
Drivers were warned to take care on approach at 8.30am.
Traffic remained busy after the crash scene was cleared at around 8.45am.
