Flights at Glasgow Airport were suspended after a drone was spotted flying close to a plane.
Police were called to the airport on Sunday at around 1.35pm, after the drone was seen flying in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow.
Flights were suspended for around 20 minutes, and planes looking to land at the airport were placed into a holding pattern.
Officers confirmed that enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
A spokesman for Glasgow Airport said: “Aircraft were placed in a temporary holding pattern while Police Scotland officers investigated a reported drone sighting approximately 3.5 miles from the airport.
“Flights resumed shortly after when was confirmed it was safe to continue operations.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a drone seen flying near a plane in the Drumchapel area around 1.35pm on Sunday, September 11, 2022.
“Flights at Glasgow Airport were suspended for around 20 minutes while the area was searched.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
