Five teenagers will be referred to the Scottish Children’s Reporters Administration in connection with the racist verbal abuse and physical assault of a woman in Glasgow.
The alleged incident took place near Ibrox subway station at around 1.30pm on Monday.
Three girls, two aged 14 years old and a 13-year-old, and two boys, 13-year-old and a 14-year-old, were identified by police.
Increased police re-assurance patrols were deployed in the Ibrox area following the alleged racially aggravated attack.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Five youths, three females, aged 13, 14 and 14 years and two males aged 13 and 14 years, will be the subject of a report to the Scottish Children’s Reporters Administration in connection with the incident.
“Officers will be in the area carrying out public reassurance patrols.”
