Five people arrested at Scotland v England match at Hampden in Glasgow SNS Group

Five people were arrested as Scotland played England at Hampden Park on Tuesday evening.

Police Scotland confirmed that four men, aged 22, 23, 26 and 51 were arrested as well as a 30-year-old woman.

All arrested were related to breach of the peace, the force confirmed.

Thousands of fans descended on the stadium on September 12 to see England be victorious over Scotland at full time at the 150th anniversary of the first international game.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “There were five arrests at the match last night. Four men aged 22, 23, 26 and 51, and a 30-year-old woman. 

“All related to breach of the peace.”
