Firefighters have been tackling a well developed blaze at a leisure centre in Glasgow.
Crews were called to the scene at Scotstoun Leisure Centre just after 5.30pm on Wednesday.
Thick plumes of smoke could be seen billowing into the sky as flames took hold of badminton courts at the rear of the building.
Centre users had to be evacuated from the site as crews battled to get the fire under control.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that two appliances had been sent to the scene.
She said: “A fire was reported at Scotstoun Leisure Centre at 5.35pm on Wednesday, two appliances were sent to the scene and remain in attendance.”
