Police are appealing for information following a spate of deliberate fires in Dumfries and Galloway.
The blazes have been set in the Sanquhar and Kelloholm areas over the past few weeks.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Please be reminded deliberately setting a fire is unacceptable and is a crime.
“The fires have the potential to spread quickly and become out of control – putting people and property at risk.
“In addition, wildfires are damaging to wildlife and the environment.”
