A man who was robbed in his car after being knocked unconscious believes a group of people was involved in the attack.
The 36-year-old was driving a convertible Vauxhall Astra around Queen Mary Avenue in Govanhill, Glasgow, at 3.55pm on Thursday.
He was hit in the face before being robbed of his mobile phone and a small sum of cash.
Emergency services attended and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be checked over.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with information or who may have seen the incident to get in touch.
Constable Mhairi Gunn said: “The man believes he was attacked by a group and we are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything in the area at the time, who has not already spoken to us to come forward.
“Inquiries in and around the area are ongoing.
“The area contains a number of houses and we are asking anyone who may be able to assist to get in touch.”
