Dozens of firefighters are battling a major blaze at a former hotel in Glasgow.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) rushed to the Carmunnock area of the city just after 8pm to reports of a fire inside a derelict building.

Around ten fire engines were sent to the former Carnbooth House Hotel on Busby Road to deal with the incident, which is ongoing.

SFRS said no casualties were reported.
