A low emission double decker bus which was torn apart by flames was deliberately set on fire.
Police have said the incident, which happened at the Fort Shopping Centre in Glasgow on Saturday, is being treated as wilful.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the vehicle at a bus stop outside the Harvester restaurant, Auchinlea Road, around 6pm.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service tackled the blaze and confirmed nobody was on board the bus.
Police Scotland have since said in a statement: “Emergency services were called to a report of a bus on fire at Glasgow Fort around 6pm on Saturday, January 18.
“Nobody was injured. Police are treating the incident as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
