Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was hospitalised following a collision with a car in Glasgow.
The incident, which involved an electric-assisted bike and a grey Ford Focus, occurred around 2.30pm on Monday on Haywood Street.
Emergency services attended and a 23-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police shut down the road for almost two hours after the crash, which later reopened around 4.25pm.
Sergeant Paul Mellis, of Glasgow Road Policing, said: “Our enquiries into the cause of the crash are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who witnesses the crash or who has any information which may assist us to get in touch.
“I would also ask anyone driving on that road around the time of the crash with dash-cam footage to get in touch.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 1983 of June 20, 2022.”
