A cyclist was left injured after a hit and run involving a BMW.
The incident took place on Bothwell Road in Hamilton, on Saturday, August 6.
The cyclist, a 40-year-old man, collided with the vehicle at around 11am at the junction with Caird Street.
A white BMW, which is believed to be a 1 Series or a 3 Series, did not stop at the scene.
Ambulance crew checked the cyclist for minor injuries.
Police enquiries are ongoing to trace the vehicle, with officers appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time of the crash, or who has any information, to contact them.
Constable James Livingstone, from Blantyre Community Policing Team, said: “We are asking for anyone who was in the area around the time of the crash, or anyone with information on the vehicle involved, to please get in touch.
“Any information could prove useful to our investigation. Please call police on 101, quoting incident 1282 of August 6.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
