A home and garden exhibition billed as the UK’s “biggest and oldest” has returned to Scotland.
Ideal Home Show Scotland kicked off at Glasgow’s SEC on Friday, and will remain at the venue until Monday, May 29.
Celebrity guests set to give free live talks at the event include Nadia Sawalha from Loose Women; Stuart and Scarlette Douglas, known for presenting Channel 4 show, Flipping Fast; and Charlotte Reddington and Gemma Lilly aka the Style Sisters.
Guests will share insider knowledge with attendees, alongside experts on hand to offer property advice, home renovation tips and tricks.
Giles Perry, event director, said: “We’re glad to be back in Scotland and can’t wait to welcome our sponsors, the hundreds of exhibitors, and the thousands of visitors that we believe is going to make Ideal Home Show Scotland the best yet.”
Presenter Stuart Douglas added it was the first time he has hosted the event in Scotland.
He told STV News: “I love Scotland by the way. I think people are extremely friendly. I love a night out, which is perfect, up my street for sure.
“But yeah, it’s great to be here. We done the Ideal Home Show in London. So I think doing the Ideal Home Show in Scotland is just the perfect continuation and I’m sure it’s going to be a great day.”
