Three people were arrested over acts of disorder on Saturday during the Celtic v Rangers match.

Police said a 29-year-old, a 44-year-old and a 47-year-old were taken in by officers amid the Old Firm game at Parkhead.

Celtic won 2-1 during the match in which Rangers midfielder John Lundstram scored an own goal and was sent off.

The result means Celtic takes a big step towards retaining the cinch Premiership title.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Three people, aged 29, 44 and 47 have been arrested during the fixture at Parkhead, Glasgow on Saturday, May 11 connection with acts of disorder.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
