CCTV has been issued of a man police believe is connected to the serious assault which occurred in April.

Images of a man connected to a serious assault in Glasgow city centre have been released to the public.

Police Scotland issued the CCTV from the incident which occurred on Saturday, April 8 on Howard Street near the St Enoch Hotel.

The assault continued onto the neighbouring streets before police arrived at the scene.

The man pictured or any witnesses to the incident are urged to contact police.

The man is described as a white, aged between 25-35-years-old, wearing blue jeans, a green khaki jacket and dark trainers with a white sole.

In a statement, the force said: “Police Scotland request the man or anyone who may recognise him to contact them. Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2208 of April 8, 2023.

“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
