Police have issued footage of a man they want to track down after a woman was attacked and robbed at a bus stop in Glasgow.

Investigating officers said the victim was left “badly shaken” by the “traumatic experience”.

The incident happened in the Mosspark area of Glasgow at around 11.45am on Tuesday, February 4.

The woman was assaulted at a bus shelter on Corkerhill Road at its junction with Linthaugh Road. As well as sustaining minor injuries, she also had property stolen from her.

Police believe the man captured in the CCTV footage will be able to assist them with their investigation.

Constable Sean Kennedy said: “This was a traumatic experience for the woman involved who was left badly shaken.

“We are eager to talk to the man in these images in connection with the incident as we believe he may have information that could help us.

“I would urge anyone who may recognise him to get in touch as soon as possible.”
