A car has been pulled from the River Clyde in the search for a man who’s been missing for more than a week.
The black Vauxhall Astra being used by John Bowman was found near Cuningar Loop around 4pm on Thursday.
The 50-year-old was last seen at home in Shettleston, Glasgow, on January 30.
Sergeant Kevin Dougall, of Shettleston Police Station, said: “John’s family are very worried about him as it is out of character for him not to be in touch with them and he has never gone missing before.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have seen John to contact us.
“His car was recovered from the River Clyde but this is still a live missing person investigation and enquiries are ongoing.”
He was last seen wearing a grey knee high dressing gown, however, it is unknown what he was currently wearing. He often wears a beanie style hat and is not wearing the glasses shown in the image.
