A car has crashed into a bank in a town centre after mounting a pavement in Renfrewshire.
The incident happened just after 11am on Monday, in Johnstone’s High Street, at a Bank of Scotland branch.
The man who was driving the car, and who was the only occupant, was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital as a “precaution”.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We received a report of a road traffic collision on High Street, Johnstone, around 11.10am on Monday July 20.
“A Nissan Juke collided with a building and the male driver has been taken to the Royal Alexendra Hospital as a precaution.”
The Bank of Scotland has been contacted for comment.
