An appeal has been launched after a car and bin were deliberately set on fire in a residential area in Paisley.
Officers were alerted to the incident which occurred around 2.45am on Monday in Bute Crescent.
Police confirmed the fire is being treated as “wilful” and added that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
The force is urging anyone with information to come forward.
Detective sergeant David Tomlinson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with private CCTV of the area at the time to come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0304 of June 3, 2024. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
