A 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a woman in Glasgow.
A 41-year-old woman was taken to hospital with critical injuries following an incident on Wednesday.
She remains at the Queen Elizabeth University fighting for her life.
Police have confirmed a 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A spokesman said: “A 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a 41 year-old woman in Pollok, Glasgow on Wednesday, 22 April, 2020.
“The injured woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where hospital staff describe her condition as critical.
“A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal and the Scottish Children’s Reporters Administration.”
