Police ScotlandA body has been found on an Ayrshire beach amid the search for a man missing for more than two weeks.
On Monday morning, police confirmed that the body of a man was found on a beach near Seamill at around 6.15am.
He is still to be formally identified but the family of 41-year-old David Wylie, who had been reported missing from Stevenston on Thursday, March 24, have been made aware.
Police said that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
