A body has been found in search for a man who went missing in mountains in the southern Highlands.
Ivan Meyer, from Edinburgh, left his home and travelled to Crianlarich by train on Monday, April 1.
The 45-year-old is thought to have arrived at the foot of the mountains to make an ascent on An Caisteal and Beinn a Chroin the same day, but had not been seen or heard from since.
Police have now confirmed a body believed to be that of Mr Meyer was found near Beinn A Chroin around 11.30am on Wednesday.
Formal identification is yet to take place but his family has been made aware.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
