Two teenagers have been taken to hospital after being attacked by a man in a major disturbance in Bishopbriggs.
Police were called to the incident on Villafield Drive at around 7.45pm on Saturday night (May 27).
One of the boys remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition, while the other was discharged with minor head injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 7.45 pm on Saturday, May 27 2023, police were called to a large scale disturbance on Villafield Drive, near to Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs.
“Two male youths, both aged 18 years, were attacked by an adult male during the incident.
“Both youths were taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“One of the youths remains in hospital with serious injuries. Medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
“The other youth sustained minor head injuries and was discharged following treatment.
“Enquiries into the incident are continuing.”
