An axe, machete and knife have been seized after police detained a gang of youths in Glasgow.
Officers discovered the weapons after responding to reports of a disturbance in the city centre on Monday evening.
Police confirmed they detained and searched a group of young people. The force said it recovered several offensive weapons.
Two boys, aged 12 and 17, were arrested for alleged possession of weapons.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
