Two men sought by police in relation to early morning assault

Appeal launched by police for two men in relation to assault near Glasgow Argyle Street McDonalds Police Scotland

CCTV images have been released as police attempt to trace two men that they believe may hold information related to an assault in December.

Police believe the two may be able to assist in relation to an assault in Glasgow near to McDonald’s on Argyle Street.

The incident happened at around 12.25am on Friday, December 3, 2021.

The first man is described as being white, 6ft in height, of stocky build with brown hair. 

When he was pictured he was wearing a light coloured jacket, black bottoms with white stripes and white trainers.

The second man is described as being white, 6ft 2 in height, of stocky build with short dark hair. 

At the time he was wearing a dark jacket, navy hoodie, black Adidas bottoms and white trainers.

Detective Constable Andy Reid, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “I would urge the men, or anyone who has information relating to the men depicted in these images, to make contact with the police.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Greater Glasgow CID via 101 quoting reference number 0098 of December 3, 2021. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be passed on anonymously.”
