A man has been left with multiple in taken to hospital after a “serious” assault in Glasgow.
Police were called to Moorfoot Street in the Carntyne area around 9pm on Monday after a man was attacked.
The 51-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Detective sergeant Peter Chatham of CID said: “This is a shocking attack which left the victim with multiple serious injuries.
“We are following a positive line of enquiry, but I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the assault or has any information to please come forward.
“Motorists with dashcam footage you may have captured something that could assist our investigation, so we would be keen to hear from you also.
