Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was attacked by a man near a school in Glasgow.
The 13-year-old was on Croftpark Avenue in Croftfoot when he was assaulted at around 8.45am on Friday.
Officers investigating the incident say the man and child are known to each other and had both been in a blue Ford Focus car beforehand.
The suspect is described as being in his 30s with a shaved head and a beard.
After the assault he was seen walking up Croftpark Avenue.
Police are appealing for witnesses and say CCTV footage from in and around the area is being checked for any additional information which could assist their investigation.
Detective constable Dan Hood said: I am appealing to people who were in the area at the time of the incident who may have seen what happened.
“There are two schools in the area and people may have been collecting their children from school.
“Any small piece of information could prove significant so please do pass it on to us.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101.
