A major road has been closed in both directions due to a “serious” collision in Argyll and Bute.
Traffic Scotland confirmed that the A83 was closed around midday on Friday in both directions.
The collision happened near to Barfad in Tarbert and involved two vehicles.
Emergency services have been called to the scene and police are currently in attendance.
It has not yet been confirmed whether there were any casualties due to the crash.
Drivers have been told to use alternative routes and diversions have been put in place.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police and emergency services are at the scene of a two-vehicle road crash on the A83 north of Tarbert.
“The road is closed in both directions.
“Please seek an alternative route if possible”.
