Annual urban light festival SPECTRA returns to Aberdeen

The festival has taken inspiration from Scotland's Year of Coasts and Waters for its fifth year.

A spectacular festival which shines a light on iconic Aberdeen buildings has returned to the city.

Now in its fifth year, SPECTRA has taken inspiration from Scotland’s Year of Coasts and Waters to explore Aberdeen’s position as the connecting point to other cultures on Scotland’s north east coast.

The series of thought provoking, playful and stunning art works full of light and sound will be on display from February 13 to 16 in the city centre.
